2. Grasp the lower-sides of the keypad and gently pull the bottom of the

keypad outwards as shown below.

Keypad Removal

CAUTION: To avoid damage to the keypad shell during the next step, do not use

excessive force when prying the shell outwards.

NOTE: The position of each switch cap is important to the CNX-PAD8 program.

Notice the location of each switch cap before disassembly.

3. Using a small flat-tip screwdriver or your fingers, pry the sides of the

keypad shell outwards until the four retainer tabs (shown below)

recede from the sides of the shell. Separate the keypad shell from the

keypad PCB and base.
